Welcome to Dance of the Soul.

An embodied meditation experience connecting you to your Body, intuitive flow and stillness.

Are you someone who struggles to find stillness because of a busy mind?  Or are you someone who wants to live intuitively?  Or maybe, connect with your innate-essence of joy, calm and creativity.  Or do you simply want to experience something different that gives you time to rest and rejuvenate your whole being?

If this resonates, I invite you to join me for this embodied movement meditation.

I understand that you might be a little nervous because the word “Dance” is in the title.

To put your nerves at ease, this is not an ecstatic dance or chakra dance class.  You will not be dancing with others, or even watching each other.

Dance of the Soul meditation is about you leaning in, being with yourself and connecting with your intuitive flow – allowing your authentic Self (Soul) to express through every cell of your being.

This may come in the form of dance, stretching, self-massage, shaking, sound, stillness, swaying, lying on the floor.

It is your choice.  Your Body will guide you through this truly magical experience.

And of course, I will be there guiding you with a structured flow that invites safety, presence, intuitive movement and groundedness.

The music is there to guide the journey.  To offer beautiful sound vibrations that support the process of clearing, cleansing and awakening.

You have the potential to leave this beautiful meditation feeling rested, rejuvenated and energised, with a deeper connection to your Body and Self.

On a side note, the reason why it’s called Dance of Soul is because this meditation allows our Soul to express through our cells; dancing and vibrating in authenticity.

What does embodied movement Meditation look like?

To begin the meditation, you will guided into your body using your senses, breath and physical awareness. This allows you to connect in with yourself and your body. It also helps to ground and settle your energy.

You will then be offered space to intuitively move to music for approximately 15-20 minutes.

This is where you listen and learn to trust that wise inner voice of yours.

Intuitive movement can be anything you feel is truth. Maybe you feel like you need to lie down and stretch, or even rest. Or maybe you feel like swaying through your hips with your arms wrapped around you. Or maybe you feel like your arms need to move in a way that opens your heart.

Or maybe, it’s all of the above and more. There is no right or wrong way to move.

Towards the end of the movement, the music will soften and slow. You will then be invited to lie down, get comfortable and drop into stillness for approximately 15-20 minutes.

Then, you will be gently led out of the meditation through physical awareness, breath and senses.

For those who feel nervous about intuitively moving in public, please don’t worry. We are moving with our eyes closed/downcast and our yoga mats are our base.

We are not dancing together or watching each other. This is about you leaning in, being with yourself and connecting with your intuitive flow – allowing your soul to express through every cell of your being.

I always find Jane’s meditation so completely immersive and healing! The way she leads me through each stage of the meditation feels almost as if my body is simply in sync with her guidance and I don’t need to actively listen to be guided!  They are truly magical.
